Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a field in which new opportunities are always created. Analyzing the changing trends in India, Kushal Singh chose to change from mechanical to a career in IT engineering. Kushal attributes this to his four years of work experience in India.
Kushal did his graduation in mechanical engineering from Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) in the year 2013. He worked for global clients in different companies and wanted to shift his career path towards IT domain. After this, there was an eagerness to study abroad.
In 2015, he was going to Canada to pursue a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Meanwhile, his visa was rejected due to his health. Then he decided to go to Australia and study. Kushal told, ‘It was a kind of hidden boon for me that I did not go to Canada and planned to get work experience. After that I started looking into moving to Australia because it was less expensive than the US and UK and it is easy to get permanent residence as well.
