Depending on your course and education provider, you may have the option to defer your offer for up to one year. This means your institution will hold your place so you can start your studies in the next semester or academic year.

• International students must adhere to the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (National Code 2018) when deferring their studies.

Deferral Process

4. For International Students:
   • If you've paid your tuition fees but haven’t applied for your student visa, you can still defer.
   • A new electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will be issued once you accept your updated offer.
